Voyages of a Babygrower: Any Day Now

Alien Turtle: the Pensinger frontier.

These are the voyages of the Babygrower Pensinger. Her nine-month mission: to explore strange new levels of emotional instability; to seek out larger pant sizes and fried chicken; to boldly go where no Beth Pensinger has gone before.

Beth’s Log: Babydate, 39-ish weeks.

Any day now, baby girl Pensinger will drop it like it’s hot. We are beyond excited to meet her. Also pretty excited for me to have visible ankles again.

1

Won’t lie … a bit anxious about the whole birthing process. Of course, there’s nowhere to go but through it. So it looks like I’m committed. πŸ˜‰ Glad Jerimiah will be with me to hold my hand. Or foot.

2

Will soon be preoccupied by unconditional love and tiny human bowel movements, so a mini blogging break will ensue. Rest assured that when I return, I will impress you with my arsenal of mini Pensinger pictures.

We’re pretty excited, too. Staying close to the phone for the text message to know that the journey has begun (to the hospital, at least). We’re praying (and have asked others to pray as well) for a safe delivery, as well as that it be as pain-free and easy as possible. God is in control – just stay focused on Him. Love you.
